Working for a product manufacturer has opened my eyes to all the crap they do to force lower prices in their stores. People want American made, but thanks to this American Retail Giant things must continuously be made cheaper to maintain business. I just don't like their business practices because I see how it affects my job just as it effects many others.

Re: Walmart: Tamed In Tennessee? | Nashvillest

Morgan -- Beautiful. That about sums it up, doesn't it? I won't say I never shop at Wal-Mart, but I avoid it like the plague (they have many similarities).

Re: Walmart: Tamed In Tennessee? | Nashvillest

I don't see me shopping at walmart though I am thankful for their changes. And I too find the asterisk logo humorous. It's as if there is some secret addendum that we're missing.

Re: Walmart: Tamed In Tennessee? | Nashvillest

@Heather - All I have to say is... http://consumerist.com/5023878/this-new-walmart...

Re: Walmart: Tamed In Tennessee? | Nashvillest

It would take a lot more than that to get me to start shopping there, but I'm glad Walmart's offering this stuff for the (many, many) people who already do go there.

And is it just me, or does anyone else find the new logo with its big asterisk at the end (as in, here's what it costs to bring you all this cheap stuff) unintentionally hilarious?
