Nashvillest: Only In Nashville: Global Warming Lives Here

Ahh Mr. Rich...or as most industry insiders/entertainment attorney's will attest: "the man you never want to get involved with.. in business or otherwise."

    Villa Rich.... but of course.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but the person calling Gore a charlatan is complaining about how big the house is and how much energy it uses, but in the same breath is denouncing global warming as a hoax? If it's a hoax, who cares how much energy the man uses. Something's not clicking there.

And of course, the people attacking Gore don't want to acknowledge the significant renovations he has made (and continues to make) to decrease energy use and switch over to cleaner energy:

I think Al Gore is a nice guy and you shouldn't pick on him.

Yeah, the only reason Gore paid to have that renovation done was because the article written about him got so much publicity. Once he finished tranforming his house into a "green paradise," he called up MSNBC and said "hey, I have a story for you....come on over and take some pictures of my house. Let everyone know how "green" I am. He never would have bothered otherwise.

Oh, and just because someone believes global warming is a scam (like thousands of scientists and most of NASA), doesn't mean they don't care about the environment. Lets take care of the earth, but lets not act as if the earth is more important than human life - or human quality of life. Lets develop cleaner, more efficient technologies, but as we're doing that, lets use the fuels and technologies we have access to now....such as oil off the coast, oil in Alaska, etc.
